How to Buy Tickets for the 2019 Ashes

Ashes Tickets

The 2019 Ashes are going to be an incredible sporting event with plenty of competition between Australia and England. The 2019 Ashes is going to be the first series played in the new ICC tournament where nine countries are playing six series over two years with the final occurring in June 2021. English and Australian fans alike are going to be fighting over these tickets to get to see a chance at both teams battle it out.

Fans were able to get tickets by entering a public ballot that closed on October 12th of 2018. The ballot is a fair way that fans can get tickets at a fair price. Fans will be notified if they won the public ballot in early 2019.

ECB Chief Executive Officer Tom Harrison had this to say, “There is nothing more important to England cricket fans than an Ashes series. With the added element of being England’s first Test series in the new World Test Championship, it’s a hugely exciting prospect and we anticipate unprecedented demand for tickets. We would love to see fans from all over the world getting to experience the unique atmosphere of an Ashes Test Match after the ICC Cricket World Cup.”

If you were unable to obtain tickets in the public ballot then you can always go on a third party reseller market to find tickets. There is one other way that you can get tickets but it is extremely expensive and it is only available to Australian fans.
